Resolving Hormone Imbalance Naturally

Menstrual Health

When stress goes up, hormones go out. Stress is a great disrupter, especially where the fine balance of the endocrine system is concerned. Hormone balance is crucial to a woman's sense of wellbeing, resilience and connection. Whole families, school rooms and workplaces can suffer when hormone imbalance enters the room.

Impacting everything from physiology, brain chemistry, emotional balance, blood sugar, fat metabolism and mood, imbalanced hormones can eliminate one's sense of wellbeing.

Ironing out hormone issues is one of my most frequent consultation themes. Whether it be helping teenage girls establish their menstrual cycle, preventing menstrual pain, heavy bleeding, PMS, acne and emotional instability, to helping people plan for a baby, Naturopathy is wonderfully effective.

Smoothing out of the menstrual cycle can literally change lives, not just of the person suffering through this cyclic distress, for it also impacts the people around them. Many a partner or family member has expressed their relief and gratitude at the resolution of a client's hormonal woes.

If you know anyone who could benefit from this service, send them my way. I love working in the arena of  women's wellbeing.

A healthy menstrual cycle is relatively symptom free. No PMS, no menstrual pain, just an easy and effortless flow, not too heavy, not too light, with no disruption to your daily life. This is the case for a small percentage of woman. For the majority, the monthly cycle can be a nightmare.

Stopping the period, suppressing ovulation, taking or implanting hormones, these medical interventions can cause more problems than they solve down the track. Messing with a woman's natural rhythm is risky to her mental and physical wellbeing, especially in our young women. Fertility is taking a terrible beating, and as time passes, more and more couples are struggling with fertility issues when they want to start a family.  Getting a regular rhythm as early as possible is important if a woman thrive instead of survive.
