Privacy Information

In line with the Privacy Act all information about you, is kept in the strictest confidence. As part of providing a service to you, your personal health information may be used in the course of your health care administration. Specifically this relates to the administration of notes and prescription by clinic staff, writing referrals, requests, insights and scripts pertinent to your care. This consent allows those directly involved in your health care access to the information necessary to implement a high standard of health service.

 

HEALTHIER BY CHOICE - clinic privacy practices

At the clinic we take your privacy seriously. It is important that you know that during your consultations with us, we will be collecting personal information and consultation information. All consultations are held strictly confidential and is not held on any third party platform, unlike medical clinics.   

 

CONFIDENTIALITY - We handle your personal information, and all information provided in your session, in accordance with the legislation.

CLINIC PLATFORM  - We use Splose Clinic Management Platform and Wix Website forms. Your personal details are stored online here for the purpose of managing your sessions. We also use Gmail for email communication - if you do not want us to use this platform please send us your protonmail account and we will use one also to communicate with you more securely.

CHILDREN - Information about children will be shared with the primary carer as appropriate, unless the child expressly asks for confidentiality. We comply with legal guidelines where it applies to consultations with minors.

 

PRESCRIPTIONS - If your prescription is dispensed by a third party provider like Vital.ly or other, only your product selection, contact and postal information is held with them,  not your consultation information. Your address is entered by you when you order.

AI PLATFORMS - we sometimes use a privately paid for platform to organise information and if used with client notes these are used anonymously. 

 

If you do not wish to have your name, email address, phone number, notes and prescription products handled in this way, please let us know when you book in, or as soon as possible thereafter.
